How to Set Up Tiered Pricing for Price-Per-Photo and Full Gallery Downloads

This guide will walk you through setting up your store to sell individual image downloads at a price-per-photo while offering the option to purchase the full gallery at a fixed price.

Other Download Options:

  • Packages with Tiered Pricing: Best for multiple price tiers.
  • Sell Packages via a Custom Product: Ideal for a simple flat-rate gallery price.
  • Pass Product Packages: Suitable for packages that include prints or multiple product types.

Enabling Photo Downloads & Tiered Pricing

  1. Go to Settings: From your Main Dashboard.
  2. Edit Store Pricing: Hover over the Photo Downloads product and click Edit Price.
  3. Enable Tiered Pricing: Checkmark the option and click Edit Tiered Pricing.

Setting the Price for Each Individual Photo

Each tier represents a different pricing rule, applied in order.

  4.   Set the First Tier: For example, you can set the first photo to $20, with each additional photo costing $20.

    • Example:
      • 1 copy = $20
      • 2 copies = $40
      • 3 copies = $60, and so on.

5. Create Additional Tiers: If, for instance, the client selects 10 or more photos, the price can switch to $200 for the full gallery, with no additional charge for any extra photos.

Example:
    • 10 copies = $200
    • 11 or more copies = $200

Note: Set the full gallery price by adding a tier where additional photos beyond a certain number are free, setting Each additional photo to $0. This ensures clients can download the full gallery for a flat rate.

Client View

The client will see the tiered pricing applied in the store, with automatic adjustments based on the number of photos they select.

When adding new tiers, the system calculates prices based on the previous tier. You can use the suggested price or lower it slightly to encourage larger purchases.

Note: If you'd like to offer free downloads, it's recommended to set this up through download permissions or coupons. Avoid using Tiered Pricing for free downloads, as it can allow clients to place multiple free orders without limits.
