Watermarks help protect your work within galleries. If the watermark option is unavailable in the Gallery Setup tab, one of the following reasons may be the cause.
Possible Reasons & Solutions
Issue | Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Watermark Not Uploaded | The watermark feature cannot be enabled if no watermark has been uploaded. | Upload a watermark in your general watermark settings. Once uploaded, you can enable or disable it per gallery. |
Burned Watermark Enabled | If the watermark option is missing in Gallery Setup, the Burned Watermark setting may be active. | - Go to Settings > Brand & Style from the Main Dashboard. |
-
Select your brand and check the Watermark Settings dropdown by going to Settings > Brand & Style from the Main Dashboard.
-
If Burned Watermark is selected, switch to Flexible Watermark to regain control over watermark settings in new galleries. (This does not affect existing images with a burned watermark.)
-
If images were uploaded while Burned Watermark was active, you will need to re-upload them to apply the flexible watermark.
After making changes, return to the Name & Cover tab within the gallery to check if the watermark option is now available.
