The Manual Coupon allows you to offer a unique, customizable discount to your client. This feature enables you to create a one-time coupon for specific situations, providing flexibility to modify the template each time you assign it to a gallery.
If you prefer a coupon that doesn’t require modification for each use, consider using the General Coupon instead.
Pro Tip: Even if your client has unsubscribed from marketing emails, Single-Use Coupon emails can still be sent, enabling you to offer support or a discount when needed.
Adding the Single-Use (Manual) Coupon App
- Go to the Sales Campaigns tab.
- Under Campaigns, select More Campaigns.
- Choose the Manual Coupon.
- Click on Install Campaign.
- Rename it if desired, then click Add Automation Campaign.
Configuring Store Credit
- Decide if you’d like to offer store credit as part of this campaign, and how it should be distributed among recipients. You can opt to give each recipient the full credit amount or share the total amount among them.
- By default, each recipient receives the full amount. To share the credit collectively, check Apply store credit collectively for all recipients.
Setting the Discount
- Click on the pencil icon to customize your discount type and amount.
- Here, adjust options like discount percentage, description, code, free shipping, minimum order amount, discount stacking, or product restrictions. Click Apply to save.
Defining Campaign Duration
- Set the campaign duration, specifying how long the discount will be active.
Customizing Emails
- Edit the campaign’s email triggers to delay announcements and reminder emails if needed. This doesn’t delay the campaign start but adjusts the email send time.
- Modify or delete emails as needed. The announcement email is sent when the campaign begins, with optional reminders before expiration.
- To edit the email, start by clicking Change Image to adjust the banner.
- Upload a custom image, use the gallery cover photo, or select from Pass’s images.
- Customize the email subject, title, message, and button text, then click Apply to save.
Setting Up Banners
- Choose from five banner types: text banner, large banner, photo banner, product row, and store rotator. Customize each banner’s design, text, and style.
- Once banners and other settings are finalized, click Save.
Assigning the Coupon to Galleries
After creating your coupon, you can apply it to specific galleries.
- Within the gallery, click on the Sales Campaigns tab and activate the Manual Coupon Automation.
- Modify individual settings by clicking on the 3 dots and then select Edit.
- Customize the Store Credit Distribution, Discount, Campaign Duration, Emails, and Banners if needed. Then, click Apply when you’re finished.
Now your Single-Use Coupon is active and assigned to your gallery!
