Using the Sensitive Security Policy provides an added level of protection for your gallery, ideal for content requiring enhanced privacy, such as Boudoir or Newborn galleries.
Below, we explain how to select a security policy and the specific features of each option.
Selecting Your Security Policy
- Select your gallery, click on Settings, and open the Security Policy dropdown menu.
- Choose the desired security level, then click Apply to confirm.
Security Policy Details
Normal Security
With Normal Security, you have control over which standard security measures to enable, but none are mandatory. Options include:
- Public or Private: Set the gallery to public (accessible via link) or private (only invited guests can access).
- Optional Settings: You can add features like gallery expiration or require guests to provide their email address.
This setup is flexible, allowing you to maintain standard security or add restrictions as desired.
Sensitive Security
Sensitive Security automatically enforces several security settings to enhance gallery protection:
- Private Access Only: Only invited guests (added by you or the main client) can access the gallery.
- Expiration Requirement: The gallery will expire after a set time, limiting how long it remains online.
- Portfolio Page Restriction: The gallery will not appear on your Portfolio Page, although its cover image can still display on the Testimonials page if enabled.
Additionally, Sensitive Security introduces stricter sharing restrictions:
- Email-Only Invites: Invites are exclusively linked to specific email addresses; clients can no longer share a gallery link or access code.
- Disable Non-Email Links: Any previous links not tied to email addresses will be disabled.
These settings can also be added to your default gallery setup through a Gallery Template.
We recommend Sensitive Security for boudoir galleries or other situations requiring restricted access to only primary clients.
