Clients can unsubscribe from Marketing emails in Pass+ at any time. While this stops promotional messages, some system emails may still be sent—though photographers have the option to manually block those as well.
Opting Out of Marketing Emails
Marketing emails are sent through your Marketing Automation apps (like seasonal campaigns, discounts, reminders, etc.). If a client unsubscribes, they won’t receive these emails—but they may still be able to use any discounts associated with the campaign.
Pro Tip: The Single-Use Coupon app is not affected by email preferences—your clients can still redeem their code even if they’ve unsubscribed from marketing emails.
How Clients Can Unsubscribe
Option 1: Through Their Profile Settings

Clients can log into their account and click the person icon from the gallery menu, and select Settings.

Uncheck the box labeled “I would like to receive special offers and updates,” and click Save Changes.
Once saved, they will no longer receive any marketing emails from you.
Option 2: From Any Marketing Email

Clients can simply click the Unsubscribe link located at the bottom of any marketing email they receive.

They will automatically be removed from future marketing campaigns.
Note: This action only unsubscribes clients from marketing emails. System emails (like gallery delivery notifications, order confirmations, etc.) may still be sent unless blocked manually by the photographer.
Blocking System Emails as a Photographer
If you want to prevent specific system emails from being sent to your clients, follow these steps:

From your Main Dashboard, go to Settings.

Navigate to the Email Packages tab.

Select the email package you'd like to modify.

You'll see a list of all system emails sent to clients. Simply uncheck the emails you wish to block.
This gives you control over the full communication experience your clients receive through Pass+.
