How do I allow a specific number of free High-Resolution downloads?

If you would like to sell high-resolution downloads but also include a set number of free downloads for your clients, there are two ways to do it:

• Allow free downloads directly in your gallery’s download settings
• Send a coupon that includes free downloads by following the steps below.

This guide will show you how to create and send a coupon for free downloads.

Step 1: Set High-Resolution Download Pricing

Go to your Settings > Store Pricing. Create a new Price List or select a Price List to edit.

Hover over Digital Downloads, then click Edit Price.

Set your Price per image and click Apply.

Any clients without free download access (as per your specific gallery’s download settings) will now be able to purchase high-resolution downloads.

Step 2: Create a Coupon for Free Downloads

Click here to go to your Sales campaign > Sales & Automation > Campaigns. Then click + More campaigns to add a General Coupon.

To fully set up the campaign, follow these steps. Then continue with this article to learn how to create a Free Product discount for downloads.

In the Discount section:

• Change the Discount Type to Free Product
• Enter your Description
• Add the Coupon code

Then Select products.

To make the code valid for only digital downloads, choose:

• Photo Downloads, or your digital custom products
• The number of free downloads to include

Click Apply.

Once you are back in the main Discount editor, review your information and select Apply to save the discount.

Step 3: Send the Coupon to Your Client

Once you have edited and saved the App, you can easily assign it to any gallery or send it to a specific client.
