How Do I Create Digital Download Packages for the Gallery Storefront?

Pass offers various methods to deliver digital download products to your clients. These include:

1. Tiered Pricing

   • Ideal if you want to use default store products and incentivize sales by offering discounts for larger purchases.

1. Product Packages

   • Best for combining digital and print products in a single package.

2. Custom Products

   • Perfect for creating simple digital download packages without print products.
   • Each Custom Product can offer a specific number of digital files or all digital files at a set price.
   • You can create multiple Custom Products at different price points.

Follow the steps below to set up Custom Products in your store:

Adding Custom Products to Your Store

1. Access Settings

   • From the Main Dashboard, click Settings.
     

2. Add a Custom Product

   • In the Store Pricing tab, click the + icon to create a new Custom Product/Package.
     
   • Ensure Custom Product is selected, enter the Product Name, and click Continue.
     

Adding Details

1. Product Information

   • Enter the Product Name, subtitle, Product Group, Description, Production Days, and Product Photos.

2. Mark as Delivered Digitally

   • Ensure the product is marked as Delivered Digitally to omit shipping charges and accurately calculate applicable taxes for digital files.
     

Configuring Photo Selection

Selling All Photos

• To sell all photos, leave Enable photo selection in this product unchecked.
  
• This option includes all files the user has access to in the digital product.

Selling a Specific Number of Photos

• Check This product requires photo selection and choose Specific Amount from the dropdown.
  
• Enter the number of photos (e.g., 15 or 20) for the package.
• Create additional Custom Products for different quantities at varying price points.

Selling Individual Photos

• Check This product requires photo selection and choose Any Amount from the dropdown.
  
• This allows clients to select any number of photos, with pricing set per photo.

Automated File Delivery

1. Enable Automatic Delivery

   • Check Send Files Automatically and Send photos to the ordering client.
     
   • Add a personalized message for clients.

2. Client Email

   • Clients receive an email with your message and a link to download their files shortly after purchase.

Pricing

1. Base Price and Photo Price

   • Set a Base Price for the product.
     
   • Optionally, add an Each Photo Price for individually selected photos.

   Pro Tip:

   • If both fields are filled, clients are charged both the base price and per photo price.
   • To charge only one, leave the other field empty.

Common Pricing Scenarios

Selling Individual Photo Downloads

• Set Each Photo Price only. Leave the base price at $0.
  
• Consider using Tiered Pricing for this setup.

Selling All Photos or a Set Selection

• Use a Base Price for the total package, not per photo.
  
• Clients cannot select more photos than allowed in the package.

Selling Retouched and Untouched Photos

• Offer retouched and non-retouched options under one product.
  
• Use the Hold option for retouched photos to complete edits before delivery.
