If clients or gallery visitors have opted out of marketing emails, they may miss out on promotions. Here’s how to ensure they can still access discounts:
Method 1: Use the Single-Use Coupon App
With the Single-Use Coupon app, you can send discounts through emails marked as informational rather than marketing, allowing discounts to reach clients even if they’ve opted out of marketing. When creating the campaign, choose Include Opt-Out Recipients to make sure these clients receive the discount.
Method 2: Request Client to Update Email Preferences
- Ask the client to log into their account, click the person icon in their gallery menu, and go to Settings.
- In Settings, they should check I would like to receive special offers and updates and then Save Changes. This enables future promotional emails.
Method 3: Use the Assign by Criteria Option
- Select Sales Campaigns in the Main Dashboard.
- Then go to the Campaigns tab.
- Create a new app or duplicate an existing one.
- Then click Edit Campaign if needed.
- In the Discount section, click the pencil icon to set the Discount Type and Coupon Code. Click Apply.
Tip: Remove emails and banners by clicking the trash icon. This ensures that clients who opted out of emails receive discounts manually.
6. When ready, click Done Editing.
Assign the Discount to Specific Galleries and Users
- Click Assign to Galleries.
- Choose the client's gallery by clicking the pencil icon in Projects.
- In Recipients, select Assign by Criteria.
- In Select Audience by Criteria, pick the relevant user type, then click Continue.
5. Last step select Apply
Note: Provide the client with their discount code manually, and unassign the app after the client places their order.
