You can receive a BCC copy of emails (without clickable links) sent via Sales & Automation apps.
This feature is helpful for photographers who want to review general campaigns, such as holiday promotions, or monitor emails sent to specific clients through tools like the Simple Sales Campaign. Below, we’ll explain how to enable BCC copies, when you'll receive them, and other key details.
Enable BCC Copy
-
Access the App Editor:
- Open the app you’re using, and click on its Email Send Settings (often found under the Emails section).

- Check the box to receive a BCC copy of the first email from each batch, then click Apply.
Important:
- If you don’t see this option in the app, you may need to duplicate the app to create an updated version.
- Some apps may not support the BCC option.
Types of Emails and BCC Copies
Announcement and Reminder Emails
- You will receive a BCC copy of Announcement Emails and any Reminder Emails for every email section where the BCC option is enabled.
- Note: If a client has already redeemed a discount or completed the relevant action, they won’t receive a reminder email, and you won’t get a BCC copy for that email either.
Email Batches
An email batch refers to a single instance of email distribution:
- Individual Emails: For apps like Early Bird or Abandoned Cart, where emails are sent based on individual client actions, you will receive a BCC for each client’s email.
- Group Emails: For apps like Holiday Campaigns, Gallery Expiration, or Anniversary Gift, where emails are sent to a group of recipients, you will receive one BCC copy for the entire batch.
Email Timing
Email Send Settings
- You can adjust the Email Send Settings in the app to choose when emails are sent:
- Earliest Possible Time: Emails are sent as soon as the conditions are met.
- Optimized Schedule: Emails are sent at the best time for client engagement.
Campaign Start and Client Actions
- The timing of the emails depends on:
- Campaign Start Date: You can set the start date when assigning the app.
- Client Actions: In some apps, such as Abandoned Cart, emails are triggered based on the client’s activity (e.g., leaving items in their cart).
Automation-App Start
When assigning an app to a gallery, you may be able to set an Automation-App Start date and time. This allows you to schedule campaigns in advance.
