Your photos are securely stored on a Microsoft-based cloud platform. During the first year after upload, they are available for immediate download. After the first year, they are moved to long-term secure storage.
Note: Photographers on the free plan cannot unarchive via the Workflow tab and must make the request through the Gallery Preview.
When a gallery is unarchived, you or your client (whoever initiated the process) will receive an email notification once the photos are ready.
Important: During the de-archiving process, an upload status bar will appear in your account. Do not cancel this process, as doing so will stop the unarchiving. Once de-archived, photos remain accessible for 12 months before being archived again.
Unarchive as a Client
Clients can unarchive their images directly from the gallery.
- Attempt to download photos in the gallery.
- If the gallery requires de-archiving, select Retrieve Photos.
- You will receive an email notification when the photos are ready, typically within 4-15 hours.
Unarchive as a Photographer
Photographer requests to unarchive are processed faster, usually within 4 hour
- Select the gallery from the Main Dashboard.
- Go to the Workflow tab.
- Choose Send/Download Photos to trigger the unarchive request.
- Select all photos in the gallery, then click Download Photos.
- Select the Zip file to Retrieve High-Res Photos or select the Web-Sized photos and click in Download here to complete the request.
From the Photos Tab
- Select the gallery from the Main Dashboard.
- Go to the Photos tab.
- Click on an image, then click Select All.
- Choose Share Photos and select the Download option.
- Select the Zip file to Retrieve High-Res Photos or select the Web-Sized photos and click in Download here to complete the request.
Once photos are unarchived, they remain accessible for 12 months. After this period, they will return to long-term storage.
